Oceans East – Belfast, Maine

A welcome addition to the Belfast community, this housing complex boasts 38 units of workforce housing in seven buildings including a community center.

Benchmarked worked with Goduti-Thomas Architects and Realty Resources to complete this $5.7 million dollar project in 2007.

Adhering to MaineHousing Green Standards, high energy efficient windows were installed along with advance insulation techniques to ensure long-term sustainablity of the development.

This project was funded by MaineHousing, US Rural Development and a $400,000 Community Development Block Grant.
