Kevin Reilley joined Benchmark in 2006. He has a BS in Accounting from Boston College along with over 20 years of construction experience with a national company. Kevin resides in Kennebunk. He is a current member and previous chair of the York County Community College Foundation Board. He also serves as Treasurer for Boy Scout Troop 304. Affiliations include: AICPA, Maine Chapter Boston College Alumni, and MEREDA. Kevin’s hobbies include woodworking, antique vehicles, and skiing.

Jamie Cook began working for Benchmark in 1994, 6 months after it’s inception. She holds an AS Degree in Accounting from Andover College and has been in the construction industry for over 19 years. Jamie resides in Standish and is involved in her community as the Treasurer for the Bonny Eagle Football Boosters as well as a member of BEPAC. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, roller skating, and scrap booking.

Kim Costa began working for Benchmark in 2007. She holds an AS Degree in Accounting from Casco Bay College. Kim resides in Standish and is the Vice President of the Bonny Eagle Football Boosters as well as a member of the Bonny Eagle Girls Track Boosters. In her spare time, Kim enjoys scrap booking, skiing, and gardening.

Dave O’Connell has been with Benchmark since 1999. He has over 30 years of construction experience working in ME, NH, NC, and MA. Dave earned a BA Degree in History from the University of Massachusetts. Dave is a member of the Massachusetts Striped Bass Association and the UMA Alumni Association. He resides in South Portland. His hobbies include boating, off-shore fishing, and collecting wine.

Christine Mecham joined Benchmark in 2009. Christine has over 9 years of marketing experience in the financial industry complimented by a BS Degree in Marketing from St. Joseph’s College. She resides in Bowdoinham and enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, camping, and other outside activities. Christine volunteers at her children’s elementary school on a weekly basis and is also a Junior Achievement Coordinator.

Allen Greenacre has been with Benchmark since 2005 and has over 30 years of experience in construction. Alan holds an AS Degree in Building Construction Technology from Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute. He resides in Windham and is currently a member of the Falmouth Rod and Gun Club. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and trap shooting.

Brad Fries joined Benchmark in 2002 after his graduation from Roger Williams University with a BS Engineering, Construction Management. Brad earned his LEED Accredited Professional status in 2008. He resides in Westbrook and enjoys lifting weights, hiking, and skiing.

Richard Egan joined Benchmark in 1996. He attended Northern Maine Vocational Technical School and has 30 years of construction experience. Richard’s hobbies include camping, fishing, hiking, and woodworking. He resides in Old Orchard Beach.

Peter is Benchmark’s most senior Project Manager and longest serving employee. His skill at pre-construction and project management have gained him a reputation as one of the top public housing and municipal project managers in the State.

Sue Bent has been with Benchmark since 1995 and has a degree in Building Construction from Wentworth Institute of Technology. She is a member of Wentworth Institutes Alumni and contributes to the support of the Maine People’s Alliance. Sue resides in York. Her hobbies include woodworking, biking, walking, hiking, and reading.

Fred joined Benchmark in 2005 as a Superintendent with over 30 years of progressive experience in the construction field.  Fred resides in New Glouster and enjoys running and hunting in his free time. He is a member of the Pineland YMCA, Maine Track Club, and Friends of Goucher Dance. Fred gives back to the community by volunteering for the Maine Track Club.

John Gerken began with for Benchmark in 2006. He attended York Technical Institute in Pennsylvania studying design and drafting. John has 17 years of progressive construction experience. He resides in Yarmouth and in his spare time enjoys bike riding, hiking, canoeing, and kayaking. John volunteers at the Preble Street Soup Kitchen.

John McCann has been with Benchmark since 2002. He holds a BA Degree in Psychology from Boston University and also attended USM studying Industrial Arts Education as well as Boston Architectural Center completing courses in architectural design, drafting, and graphics. John has 35 years of experience in frame to finish carpentry, job clerking, and on-site supervision. He resides in Brunswick and in his spare time enjoys traveling with his wife and modern dance. John is a member of the Turner Pond Club and PMA.

Tim has been with Benchmark since 1999. He has over 20 years of field experience as a carpenter, foreman and superintendent. Tim attended Houston Community College and Southern Maine Technical College. He resides in Freeport and enjoys kayaking, skating, camping, boating, and carpentry. Tim’s community involvement includes youth- baseball, soccer, hockey, and softball. He is also a member of a swim team parents group.

Dave joined Benchmark in March 2010. He earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine. David brings twelve years of construction experience including residential, commercial and heavy construction. He currently resides in New Gloucester with his wife and two daughters.

The original founder of Benchmark, Mark continues to be involved by serving as a Director. Mark is a Registered Architect in Maine and New Hampshire.

David joined our team in October of 2009 as our first intern.  David is a senior at Westbrook High School and a third year drafting student at Westbrook Regional Vocational Center. He is also currently enrolled in a CAD graphics class at SMCC.  David resides in Westbrook. David has been accepted at New England Institute of Technology in RI and will be receiving a BS degree in Architectural Building Engineering Technology. Upon graduating from NEIT, he plans to continue his education by pursing his Masters Degree at Boston Architectural College.
