Yarmouth Town Hall
Built in 1974, the existing Yarmouth Town Hall is a simple two-story brick and wood frame structure of approximately 6,000sf. The lower level was used by the Police Department (Public Safety); the upper level housed the town offices.
Benchmark completed construction of the new 8,000sf two-story addition that included additional office and support space for Public Safety on the lower level and offices and community meeting space on the upper level. The addition also includes an elevator, providing accessibility to all areas on both floors.
After completion of the addition, Benchmark renovated the existing 6,000sf building connecting it to the new addition, improving circulation, the HVAC system, and the quality of public spaces.
Reconfiguration of the site, parking, driveways, walkways, and landscaping was also part of the scope of work.
The project was completed ahead of the contract schedule.
