Benchmark constructed the $10.5 million project of over 200,000sf of retail space on an accelerated schedule – a 10 month time frame. In response to the expedited schedule, Benchmark instituted Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling as a tool to successfully and efficiently manage the work. By constantly looking ahead, and through frequent, accurate and deliberate communication with the subcontractors, owner representatives, architects and other project delivery members, all stakeholders understood expectations and critical milestones and deadlines.
