Park Avenue Elementary School- Auburn

A new 53,000 sq. ft., two-story K through grade 6 school. The building replaced the aging Lake Street Elementary School and consists of 23 classrooms, a gym, kitchen/cafeteria and administrative offices.

Designed by Stephen Blatt Architects, Park Avenue Elementary School is a state-of-the-art, high-efficiency building that has an external insulation and air-barrier system which greatly increases the building envelope integrity. Other features include automatic flush valve toilets and waterless urinals. These features, combined with others, help to keep operating costs and environmental impact to a minimum, while improving occupant comfort.
