At BENCHMARK we believe that communication is the determining factor in the success of each project. Our employees are a reflection of that belief.

Sam started as a Project Manager at BENCHMARK in 2016 and transitioned into owner. Sam’s expertise and ability to handle complicated projects with a positive attitude has lead the company into many new opportunities. Sam strives to create long lasting relationships with both owners and subcontractors. He enjoys summer downtime with his wife Catherine and 4 children in Round Pond.

Jason joined BENCHMARK in 2012 and has many years of experience as estimator, superintendent, safety manager, quality control manager and project manager. Jason and his wife Lindsey live in Portland with their children Hunter and Juliana and their chocolate lab, Ruger. Jason enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering his time in the community.

Jamie is considered BENCHMARK’s original hardware. She joined the company at it’s inception in 1993 and is currently controller. Jamie has many years of experience making her a valuable asset to internal and external operations. Jamie has two grown children and lives with her husband Mike in Standish. Jamie enjoys all the seasons in Maine for outdoor recreation.

BENCHMARK CONSTRUCTION was founded in 1993 with the vision of providing professional construction services that place an emphasis on creativity and integrity.

At BENCHMARK we provide comprehensive Construction Management (CM), Design/Build (D/B) and General Contracting (GC) services for a wide range of institutional, educational, commercial, industrial, historic and retail projects throughout Maine and New England.

Because of our strong and ongoing partnerships with design professionals, sub-contractors and vendors, we deliver projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. At the same time we strive to establish relationships with our clients that are based on mutual trust and respect.
