Salvation Army
BENCHMARK completed the construction of a 6,000-square foot dining hall addition to the Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center on Preble Street in Portland. In addition to the dining hall, a new apartment was added to the building as well as other renovations to ensure ADA accessibility between the existing facility and new addition.
Carleton Street Apartments
30,358 square feet in Portland, Maine. Victorian charm was retained in the design of this project. The architects and project manager worked hard to incorporate important historic details such as brick, pre-cast, granite posts and ornamental railings along with copper roof details. In addition to its pleasing architectural appearance, the building was designed to LEED energy efficiency.
